Consortium of Popular Culture Collections in the Midwest


Bowling Green State University (BGSU), in Bowling Green, Ohio, has extraordinarily wide-ranging collections documenting late 19th- and 20th-century popular culture. The research collections of the Ray and Pat Browne Library for Popular Culture Studies are comprehensive in scope, with special strengths in popular fiction, radio, television and film, graphic arts, sports, games, humor, and cookery. The Sound Recordings Archives houses the largest collection of recorded popular music in any academic library in North America.
